My book page has grown quite a bit, and the most common complaint is that it takes a long time to download. On the other hand, the most common comment is of the form "please don't change it." I've written to some of those people and it seems some folks want to browse.

Here's my current solution. Yell at me if you have opinions.

• Original Book Page. Over 100k bytes. Good for printing and browsing, slow to download due to size.
• Frames-based version. Authors down the left, their stuff on the right. You download chunks at a time; they're fast, but you can't scroll through everyone's stuff at once.
• Log of changes. Small, fast, see if there's anythng new worth looking at.

Coming someday: an MCF-based version you can fold, spindle, mutilate, sort, and view however you want. This should be easy since my sources for this page are already written with data and metadata explicit, but I really don't have much time for this.
